The enlistment, transportation, harbouring, or receiving of both adults and children constitutes modern slavery.
Throughout this course, we will be discussing real-life examples of contemporary slavery, which affects around 130,000 people in the United Kingdom. There are several forms of modern slavery, including but not limited to: sexual exploitation, debt bondage, forced labour, forced marriage, and criminal exploitation.
Given its applicability to a wide range of companies and sectors, this training is designed to be inclusive of all staff members. You will learn about the characteristics of victims of human trafficking as well as the methods used to recruit, manipulate, and exploit them during this course. From the victim's point of view, we will examine the subtle personal indicators of modern slavery and how to spot potential bases.
